I have seen a flag waving on top of this little hill behind Log of Paradis so I decided that today was the day to go to the top. I actually ended up hiking to the mountain behind as well. Well-marked dry trails made it fairly easy going.
The coordinates for the parking area are N18.71813° E 099.18920 Elevation 368m. I follow the canal road here. If you are coming from Chiang Mai look for the turn off on SanKampaeng Road (1317) before Log of Paradis (the tepees).
This is easy dirt riding until the entrance to the parking area which may be a bit much for a street bike, but this is only for 500 meters or so.

At the dam (weir?) you follow the dry steam bed for a bit and keep looking for signs marking the path. I decided to head up the mountain behind my targeted hill and this is the view looking back.

I now begin my walk to the flag on top of the targeted hill. And here is proof I made it!
When I get back I see this little beauty sitting on the Lifan. Beauty and the Beast! 555
Although mostly hiking, I surely wished there was a path for the bike for at least a part of the way. Oh well.
