What I saw...
What to buy next?
& it was easy to get attracted to their stand....
The beast & what a horny looking machine
& once I've got my use out of the Versys...the next bike should be
Suzuki V-Strom 650
19 inch front wheel
bigger frame & luggage carrying capacity = better tourer
overall better spec than the Versys
& proven reliable economical performer for long distance touring riders.
I want one!
According to the Suzuki rep I spoke to the Suzuki big bikes will be available in Chiang Mai via Saha Phanich before the end of the year.
The dealership contract has been signed.
Mechanics have to be trained in Bangkok.
The main problem why Suzuki has been slow to get into the big bike market was because they had to take back the Suzuki franchise from the "SV Suzuki family" that had it locked up, but did not want to invest in the big bike market. That court case & franchise has now been resolved.
a very sexy machine.
Benelli had a couple more bikes on display, but you could not get close to them on account of a certain PG who pulled in a swarm of photographers.
more of her (+ a few others) later...
The Versys looked a bit ordinary I thought
bring on the update later this year.
The sexiest trickest bike I saw at the show
A totally hotted up KSR!!
Another Kawa beauty
The Kawa beast
The Kawa off road machines
A few cars that caught my attention..
Last but not least some of the PG - dollies...
The Benelli angel who drew in a swarm of photographers
such that you could not see the bikes!
& what I finally realised this year is that LOS acually stands for Land of Silicone.
Enjoy I did & they more than make up for no KTM or Triumph at the show.
Thanks for sharing David. Didn't go to the show this year due to no budget to buy something . I have to say that BMW is releasing nice bikes (besides the GS series). Especially the BMW R nineT.
Never saw any Royal Enfield stand either.
CRF300, the other guys said they were told not for Thailand? But not sure about that to be honest.
Fantastic pictures and lovely eye candy!
No KTM or Triumph?! What's up with that??!?
And Hyundai seems to be promoting the fact that all their cars now come with two airbags in the front.
Great pics! Thanks for those!
Yes, thanks for all the high quality pics!
Is there any price on the VanVan? I met a guy with a 15 y o TW200, isn't that about the same?
No KTM? I thought I saw one, right, post #10, Dirt Shop, second photo - maybe the only one?
Thanks for that, Marcel.
I thought it was a 200cc, then the price would be acceptable, but with an ac sohc 125cc engine for 99.000 baht - thanks, but no, thanks!
