a friend of mine comes over to Cambodia, wants to buy a bike and go on a big tour with me (planed is thailand, laos, maybe malaysia and of course cambodia). The problem is it takes about a month to sort out the paperwork over here so he really does not have the time for it (he'll just be here for about six to eight weeks).
The way I see it there are basically two ways of doing it. I buy a bike for him and register it in my name or I'll have him send me a sample of his signature, copies of his papers and most important passport size fotos) and try to register it in his name.
What would be the best course of action?
