Current weather riding conditions from ChiangMai to MHS

I am planning a ride from CM to MHS via Doi Inthanon, Khun Yuam then up towards Pai then Mae Sai. My riding dates are scheduled between 9-13 August which are considered WET months.
I was running through the current weather & it seems that its pouring heavily up north. Floods & landslides are occurring according to the postings on weather sites.
Any advice from anyone close would be helpful.

Just completed my MHS & GT ride & made it safely back to Subang Jaya Malaysia yesterday.
It was a rather wet & wild ride during the ride from Chiang Mai to MHS via Doi Inthanon & Khun Yuam.
Potholes, landslides, mud, waterlogged roads & almost every 'act of god' situation thrown at me!
Well , I survived to tell the tale....
