Currently sitting in my office reveiwing some photo's of my last trip to the north and northeast and wondering why I live in Bangkok.
Its at least an hour to get on to a decent stretch of ridng road.
To get there, if the 10 wheelers don't get you the pollution will. Even at this time of year not a chance of any cool weather ridng within 2 hours.
Over new year, the cops only managed to pull 1,200 baht in 200 baht increments off me so they will need feeding on any minor excursion.
