You've just got to love this country.

Where else in the world, could you stop in a small country town and get your photo taken with two super hero's and a monkey.

I'm the one wearing the helmet

I just was reading yesterday that the Red power Ranger is up on murder for killing his flat mate with a sword.

A bit of a funny stuff up.
I recently installed one of those mesh seat covers on the Vstrom & love it.

you can actually feel the air flow when you're riding around at lower speeds, "ventilating your bum. "
They are superb.

It just slips on over the seat & you fasten it under the seat with two velcro straps.
However there is a catch, if you are not careful............read on.....
For a week I'd been unable to lock the seat & numerous sprays with the old WD40 did not seem to release the lock.
So riding past the Suzuki shop one arvo I thought Id just pop in to see what the trick was.
Arh yeah a squirt of WD40 spray will release the lock.
Nope didnt work. Obviously something is wrong with the lock or release mechanism.
Off comes the tail piece to get at the key lock.
Nope that's not it either.

Next step get under the seat - off come the side covers to wiggle you way in.

Eventually under the seat the culprit is revealed

the velcro strap holding on the seat cover has slipped & jammed in the locking mechanism. Silly me jaming the seat on down hard.
How it should look

Somewhat embarassing for me, but a good laugh for the mechanics at the Suzuki big bike shop. You learn something new everyday.
Time lost 1 1/4 hrs & the Suzuki guys thought it was all so funny they didn't want any money.
Oh ell. You all take care out thee putting your seats + mesh covers on.
