A plug for the HX duty free shop that I was told had closed from covid & was no longer operating.
Not true they say, never closed with covid & they have more business supplying booze upstream now to "Lao Vegas" & the Kings Roman / Ton Phueng entertainment establishments. I do note however that their selection is less than before, & sadly for me, no Jamesons.

The Grand Marnier was a bargain I thought @ 990 baht a litre.
Obviously old stock & the old price. The current price in Thailand is over 2,000 baht a litre I think.
When visiting booze shops in Laos it often pays to have a close look for old stock, from several years ago, because they are old prices & so a bargain when compared to current prices.
