Sek Loso, Thailand's most notorious rock star, is playing in Chiang Khong @ the Thung Chang on 19th March 2023.

The Thung Chang

Andy would like to get a group together to book a table & go.
Is anyone interested to go & book a table together?

I will be at the venue tomorrow. I'll let you all know what I find out. But typically you book a table for 4 or 6. Spreads the cost and usually the first drinks are free.

Sek Loso tables are
2000 baht = seat 4 + 4 bottles of Singha free.
6000 baht = seat 6 + 6 bottles of Singha free + "3 foods."

There are only 5 tables left

I checked out the venue today. It's out of town, but only a few minutes from the 1020. There's plenty of parking, a short walk to the venue. The set up looks great. Even from the seats that we have you can see the stage (photo 3). The sound is always better at the back. The staff say the food is as per the online menu. David has already provided the venue link. One table is booked is for 4 of us already. I just checked before posting this....

Is they a GT riders dinner this month ?
Thanks and safe riding

Probably not. I will take a break for a while from organizing GTR UP Country dinners, as I see little feedback or response on GTR.
This lack of response has become quite disheartening for me & I would like to have a rethink over the next few months.

I'm always waiting for the next one.:broken_heart:

Covid had a hit , then your oops. But I do understand the effort involved. There is a huge list of previous destinations. :idea:Maybe we simply rinse and repeat

I've actually been thinking of a Chiang Kham 1148 dinner to celebrate with our 1148 shirts.
But let's see after Songkran.

Planning a ride from Ch Rai/Ch Khong and south to Nan starting 2 April. Hearing horror stories about pollution and poor visibility. If you are on the spot, maybe you can advise if I should postpone it until things improve. Comments and suggestions welcome...

Just come & ride, have a good time on your bike. The smoke is everywhere in S E Asia right now.
Songkran is not far off & everyone will be throwing water & driving / riding around inebriated, that's when I'd be hunkered down & staying safe.
