A pretty quiet Songkran for me this year, mostly playing with my kids in our quiet neighborhood-
Did make it down to Sukhumvit yesterday to meet up with a couple "Bangkok Weekend Warriors" to catch a reply of the MotoGP at Mulligans and enjoy the Songkran shenannigans on Sukhumvit Soi 11 :thumbup:
It was a fun ride down to Sukhumvit and I arrived well soaked!
I still don't know what all the fuss is about regarding riding during Songkran. Sure, people chuck buckets of water at you, but you can always see the "play zones" well before you reach them, so plenty of time to slow down and brace yourself for a good soaking. I realize that as the day wears on there are more and more drink drivers on the roads and that is certainly something one needs to be aware of!

Riding down Sukhumvit Soi 11 later in the evening we were again doused many times, but all in good fun. I love Songkran!!!
