The Flying Buffaloes

We had a weekend visit to Viang Yonok Hotel, from the Flying Buffaloes HD club in Chonburi. 9 HDs plus a CRF came up to Chiang Saen for the weekend.

I remember years ago, touring England with my Thai wife, on a Suzuki Katana 1100. We were cold & wet one day and were turned away from a hotel because we were on a bike........

So now, it gives me great pleasure to welcome bikers, now that I own a hotel.....

.... and let them park around the garden.

I sort of liked this classic 1988 Evo engine bike. It had that nice used look.

We joined the group on the '59 Thunderbird and headed out for a little local tour at the Golden Triangle.

and up to Wat Prathat PaNgao to get some views on a beautiful clear day after the overnight rain.

The old Triumph looks small next to these HDs. Well, some of them have an engine that is three times bigger.
