train (with scooter) from kl (or penang) to bangkok

hey all

i have pretty much finished my trip around malaysia and now need to go meet a friend up in cambodia!

i have already riden from bkk south so want to get a train back up...

now i know its fairly simple for me to get a train, but is it possible to put the scooter on the train too? can i put it on the same train as me? idea of costs or where to book...was planning to just go ask at kl train station next week but any tips appreciated....

In Thailand piece of cake, in Malaysia I have no idea, but am guessing it's just as cheap and easy. Let us know how it goes!
