one of the strangest things i`ve seen on a race track.

it looked like the rear tyre flew off and then the rim hit the track and slid out spitting the rider off onto the middle of the track.
 
Thanks for finding that Ron. Reminds me of a saloon car race at Brands Hatch. Wheel came off at Paddock bend and headed at high speed for the crowd. Fortunately changed direction and bounced back to the track. A frightening object when travelling at speed and a number of marshalls and spectators had a few heart stopping moments.
