Taking Motorbike from Laos to Vietnam - possible

I've had a look around the forums but haven't been able to find anything recent on crossing from Laos to Vietnam - apart from the 175cc maximum. Would it be possible to take a bike from Laos to vietnam through one of the border crossings? I read
