Wearing this helmet for approaching two years.
It's ventilation is fantastic for Thailand. Lovely movement of fast flowing air across the scalp is a huge relief.
Great visor optics and low wind noise.
Service time after 56,000km. Needs new visor base plate because the visor had just started dropping position when riding. ฿600 to replace base plate.
I purchased the Quantic from Bikers Club, Phitsanulok. An authorised Arai dealer, saving me the hassle of riding to BKK to purchase.
I have an Arai VAS sun visor fitted, which does the job perfectly when I need to cut the sun and when riding away from sun, lifts out of the way and doesn't cause much helmet air turbulence/instability/noise.
VAS sunvisor wasn't cheap, remains nearly unscratched after 40,000km. Gotta love the polycarbonate coating that makes it hard to scratch.
I imported a 5mm Arai (crown/head liner from Motolegends, UK, myself because the BKK importer doesnt stock it. That 2mm reduction over standard 7mm makes all the different, especially when wearing a thin Dr.Jones balaclava.
