Absolutely wonderful! I am so glad you took so many photos of your travels at that time.
Really wonderful to see the roads (or well, the lack of them!).
Beautiful faces and style.

Fantastic that I have just seen the top photo pop up on Facebook, with a then and now image of the two ladies.

37 years apart.
I was also impressed that I got a credit for the original photos.

I took some 32 year old pictures back to the Akha village in Huai Sala, large framed prints that has sat on my house walls, and they gave them to the people concerned but I never saw the people again. Terrific to see them paired up like this.

Yes I should pop into that Cultural Centre - Museum too to set up to see what thet up & if they're were able to use my pics as well.
More villages should set up little museums with artifacts & photos to protect their history & culture.
