Mae Sarieng Pubs

Along the river road Lang Phanit & heading upstream away from town there is a series of cool little pubs.
Some of them have music & some are good just to chill out.

THE CHING CHING CAFE

a classic old building beside the river

& arguably with the best bar stools in the world.

& I certainly felt super relaxed gently imbibing there.
No music here, just a place to chill out in a lovey relaxed atmosphere.

Hill Coffee
Location: heading east from town on 108, its 300 metres out, on the left hand side.

Opened in Oct 2011 and well worth a stop for a good hot coffee / ice cream / cookies. Whilst Mae Sariang lacks a skilled barista, at least the lady can make a cappucino that both looks and tastes about right AND its hot… On that basis alone, she deserves some support! :smile1:
