Rack + Luggage

Hello,

I have been looking for a shop in Bangkok that sells/makes good quality motorcycle racks and luggage.
Any ideas? I have been to Red Baron and Paddock but they do not have what I need. For the rack - I am OK with going to a local shop and buy a custom built one.

Any advice for a new rider looking for motorcycle luggage? What are things I should be giving attention to?

Dr Bike (mocyc.com) in Bkk do racks and Givi and Shad cases. just insist that they use the correct wall thickness on the tube.

Having toured in Indonesia with a luggage rack, I would recommend against tubular racks. I know the roads in Thailand are better but I would stick with flat steel if one is going to have a rack fabricated. Easier to weld properly etc...

There is a shop near Hualampong on Rama IV on the north side that has a large selection of "boxes" quality unknown.
