Small Thailand License Plates?

Excuse my ignorance, but do they make, or is one able to obtain a smaller size license plate to put on a bike in Thailand?

Something like the size they use in America? What is the way to do it?

There is only one legal number plate for your motorcycle and that is the one that has been issued. A number of years ago they used a smaller plate and it may be seen on older bikes. Just like the USA, the plate they give you is the only legal one.

they can me made smaller , some custom bike shop can get them made but they are not reaslly legal ,
Wranglers in pattaya and Hotrod have supplier.

I got a smaller one made for mine. Not much smaller - just a fraction and so far I have had no problems with the police. I would imagine though that if it was too obvious you would called pulled over quite often.

Cut it smaller, leaving on the little numbers and logo on the bottom. Repaint the black line around the border to minimize hassles with Mr. Plod.
