Hi,
I recently bought this old Bike.
I am not sure, if "snappy clutch" (from google translate
) is the correct term to describe my problems.
The (little bit worn out) clutch lever, has only a ~5mm distance from a fully open, to a fully closed clutch.
Nearly impossible to dose and feel the correct "pressure point"
So its very hard, to start up.
It's more like a "jumpy" than smooth start up, because I need higher revs, to avoid killing the engine.
Every traffic light is a "nightmare"
I adjusted the clutch according to the service manual. But no difference.
Could it be a problem with the clutch springs or plates?
And yes, I know how to use a clutch....
roblem:
