I do not know about other places up north here 'But in 7 years of coming here I have never been asked to show my passport this year it's just about every day.
It could be because I live so close to the war on drugs but things have changed
I'm up north and I have been stopped on the road on my bike and car and searched for guns and drugs twice in the past 3 months and for my ID many times.
