1 - New Message Board Transition:
The change from the Windows-based Snitz Bulletin Board to phpBB required a significant and complex data conversion process. The main issue that affects all users is that its impossible to convert the encrypted passwords, although user account details are preserved.
Your current Password will not work and your Account will require Re-activation. Instructions as follows;

1.) Click on the "Log in" menu option, on the right hand side of the menu bar - next illustration:
2.) Click on the "I Forgot My Password" option under the "Log In" button.
3.) Enter your User Name, and your email address.
4.) The following message box will display. Now check your email for the instructions for the next step.
5.) The email will look a bit like the following ilustration; (CLICK THE LINK PROVIDED!)
(NB: going to the Board and trying to log in with the password will not work - the link "re-activates" your account! )
Clicking on the link loads a new Board page...
6.) The following "Account Activation" message displays -
7.) NOW you can log in using your User Name and the new password that was emailed to you! Go to your account Profile and set your password back to your preferred option.
1.) Any Posts you made after 20th November will need to be re-posted on the new system - sorry, not much we could do about that... They are still on the old Board at http://Board-GT-Rider.com - open a 2nd browser window or another Tab. Copy the old Post, and Paste it into the new Board in the correct location.
2.) Some items still require "fixing" - for example, the data conversion process did not preserve the "Sticky" postings, so someone will going through and repairing those.
3.) The other change that's likely is the ability to browse forums without logging in . The reason is that we'd like to increase overall traffic and search engine rankings, and to do that, we need to allow Google etc in to index the site...
4.) Postings / participation will still require registration.
5.) IMAGES: The default installation / data import left HTML codes disabled in many Posts, meaning images are not displayed. To fix this, go into Edit mode on your post, and then press Submit.
This will save the [IMG] codes correctly.
6.) HTML Code not working on your posts?
Go to your personal Profile, and turn on HTML the radio button that enables HTML
