The March GTR Dinner has been postponed for a month to Wednesday 27th April.

All the rooms for the March dinner were cancelled in person by myself.
The Mountain Lodge requests that everyone rebook their own rooms for the Wednesday 27th April.
Their preferred room booking method is by Facebook Messenger.

The destination is Sa Iab, the little town with no 7-11 or ATM, but with the fabulous Sakthong Cafe, Distillery & Mountain Lodge.
This place really is unique and "off the beaten track" but on a fantastic biking road R1120.

GTR had a brilliant GTR dinner here in November 2020.

The Mountain View LOdge is the only place & it is now on the Thai tourist trail, so they do get bookings.
With rooms limited to 22 it is best to get in & confirmed soon.

What was the Ordeal? I messaged and they replied. Perfect. Way better and more organised than the Previous dinner. This place is really nice!

Wife called but the lady was driving couldn't do it. Called later no answer, et al. Sorted eventually. I still have some slippers from last time!
 
URGENT UPDATE

It is with deep regret that we have had to postpone the monthly GTR Dinner scheduled for the 30th of March. It will instead be rescheduled to Wednesday the 27th of April, and will still be held in SA Iab.

As a courtesy the accommodation booked by all attending has been block cancelled direct with the hotel.

For those who wish to attend the dinner now scheduled for the 27th April, please rebook your own rooms with the mountain lodge.

Please accept our apologies, but circumstances beyond our control have dictated the need to reschedule, and we sincerely hope that everybody can rebook and attend in April.
