Picked up my new versys and was ready to make the Isaan loop. +/- 1500 km. De versys loaded with 2 givi V35's. Bought them in Europe for 15.000 bath in Pattaya the asked 27.000 bath. I did the trip in 7 days and wanted to visit some friends in Isaan.

Started in Buriram and took a senic route to Khon Kaen. The route to Udon Thani was a boring, straight 4 way lane. Udon surprised me. It have some good restaurants, a nice market and a good nightlife.

It was a lovely first ride with the Versys. It's a good all-rounder and a flexible bike.

Nice trip, you have a KML file of your trip? I am hoping to make the scenic route to from KK to Buriram and Surin soon (when the weather clears up a bit). Next time make a stop in KK ....

But WOW, what's the story behind the Monster Shop in Sisaket, of all places?

My wife needed a new jacket, and I wanted to make promotion for the Buccaneer Charity Run in Surin. I was surprised how much ducati's he had in stock. He has also a Toyota MR and a Toyota Celica for sale.

No it isn't the road to O'smach. Therefore you have to drive on to Prasat (direction Surin) and turn left on the 214. The road on the picture goes to the Chong Sa Ngam / Anlong veng border.

Curious is this shop still going?
Does anyone know?
This shop was the home of one of the big Isaan riding groups, used to visit them on our tours promoting Khon Kaen bike weeks. I will ask Khun Bat from KK if they are still going
