2 Bikes wanted in Ho Chi Minh ( Saigon ) Vietnam

We arrive in Vietnam on the 21st of December and are looking to buy two Minsk or bigger motorbikes.

I am looking at travelling from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi then onto Laos and finally cambodia and back to Ho Chi Minh and was wondering if I would have any problems doing this, do I need a Carnet du Passage.
