There is no planned end of the year - last Wednesday of the month dinner - for December because of traffic & heavy bookings.
But what about a pre-christmas meet up - Wednesday 16th December?
There are two options
1. CSL restaurant in Si Satchanalai
2. Bamboo Mexican in Chiang Khong. Mim would like to do another Mexican if we can get enough people together.

Who wants to come?
What do you prefer - CSL or Bamboo Mexican?

CSL in Si Satchanalai would be my choice as we'll be up in CK in Mid January for the music festival and could possibly have a Mexican evening the night before.

Tim who was in SiSatch the night before, put his engineering skills to good use before we arrived.

What is wonderful about the GTR diners is being able to set your own route to / from the event, plus meet up with others riders from different towns,

27 people rocked up. TQ all who came. For those who did not confirm their participation in advance, it is a great help if you do so in advance, can you please confirm in advance so that the cook is not under pressure.

Last but not least...an image of Steve Prince & Brian Wyatt from Chiang Rai Big Bikes & Chiang Rai UTV Adventure Tours, who both attended the previous dinner at CSL.

Brian & Steve are very close buddies & working partners. Brian was away overseas & unable to attend this dinner.
Steve did, & with Mark Lakota rode home to Chiang Rai via “the longest way” possible: Si Satchanalai – Uttaradit – Nam Pat – Bo Klua- Pua - R1148 – Chiang Kham – Thoeng & home. Both Mark & Steve got home that night safely in the dark. Riding was Steve's passion & he did it well.
So it was a terrible shock to know the next morning that Steve tragically lost his life in an accident just kms from his house!
Tributes & thoughts for Steve can be posted here
RIP Peace Steve.
