Alternative boots for dirtbike??

If I want some kind of boots for a week or2 dirtbiking,is there anything suitable available in BKK apart from proper enduro/mx boots?
I don't want tobuy a new pair for a week, then lug them around for a few months(Size 10)
What's my best bet?

I would use a good pair of hiking boots, then use can use them for Trekking as well. Or I believe some rental shops have boots and gear available with the bikes.

Alternatively, find an army surplus store, grab yourself a pair of boots dead cheap and then give them away or bin them when you are done with them!

If you need jacket or pants, there is a second hand clothes stall on the road leading to the airport, between Airport Plaza and the Airport on right hand side.

Leather look-a-like jackets, quite thick, black for 200 baht (2nd hand), and heaps of jeans starting at 100 baht
