Happily pass on the advice given to me; visit local new car dealers and inquire about used car/truck inventory. They won’t have much, but there is almost always someone looking to purchase new and can’t until they sell their old vehicle. Leave your cell number with each dealer and they’ll bring the offers to you; many prices will be better than what you’ll see advertised. Ah heck, in many cases they’ll even bring the vehicle to you for viewing.
A common vehicle they brought forward were 4 years, and older, Toyota Vigos with prices lower than what we saw advertised.
