Hi All,

Warning - the embassy address is posted wrongly all over the internet! It is no longer near Lumpini Park! #$^%$%#$#@$@

At the embassy, they asked for THB 1,600 instead of US $ 25 they quoted by phone. The excuse was that they issue it the same day. Someone should compare these prices :x I suspect the guy at the counter is grabbing a few hundred Baht every time. Lots of people with many passports of different colour in their hands. Seems to be strictly a matter of paying a bribe, then one doesn't even show up in person for some VISA?

Sorry, it's boring and dull - I just feel like venting.

Chris

Just make sure you get what you order... And the 200 Baht fee for having the passport stamped stays - I tried my best yesterday at Poipet and getting suckered in the end.
