Best country/area in south-east Asia for off road touring for 3 weeks?

Hi!

Me and some friends want to go to south-east asia for off road touring, for around 3 weeks. We haven't decided yet which ****ry/area to go to.
We are all experienced enduro riders, so generally we would like more deamding trail riding than just gravel roads. As we will rent the bikes I guess we can't pass any borders, right?

I would summarise what we are looking for like this, in this order:

- Scenic routes / mountain roads
- Gnarly off road
- Lots of exciting river crossings
- Good bikes (would choose Honda XR400 above the XR250)
- Friendly locals
- Good food

All help appreciated!

Well, I would want to say Vietnam, and North Vietnam, its not like we have much good roads here ;) what i hear its good to rent bikes from Flamingo travels http://flamingotravel.com.vn/rentals and they even have XR400 and even XR650, You would need Visa for 3 week as Swedish will only get 15 days from the boarder.

But then again Thailand is really nice! i'm sure there is lot of guys who have nothing but good to say about it.

I'm actually considering Vietnam. I believe Vietnam has more scenic mountain roads compared to Thailand etc, is this correct?
