Just wanted to share with you a shop in Bangkok I had a good experience with.
It is called Bikers (www.bikers.co.th) and they manufacture/sell some aluminum accessories to do mods on your bike. They have an impressive range of products that fits most of the bikes sold in Thailand.
I got a special bar to put my gps on my versys and some break guard as they call it. Really good quality stuff and the prices are reasonable.
It is located in China Town close to Khlong Thom Center (see map on website).
The guies are friendly are installing what you buy on your bike.
