Marco, in 1996 was this the newprice for this Bmw??!!, also this model look like an early 90,s f 650 dakar was blue-white.Maybe some more info?

Marco; i was wrong: in 1990 this model, costed 200.000 baht newprice in Holland.So from what year is this bmw?

Bruce the bike is still in Chiang Mai as far as I know & not sold. (I'm in Vientiane right now). But you need to contact Marco, the owner, by the email address posted above, or even ring him if he is still in Cnx. Good luck. I think the bike is a good deal with a legal plate & registered in Chiang Mai, where the rego office is very strict!

How are going Col? You are sure knocking up the k's, I did 38,000k in 11 months, the way you are going it will be 6 months. My Dakar (Doris) has now 55,000ks up on her and still goes as good as gold. She is a late 2002 model from Australia and is worth only $6000 Aust. as a tradein, bikes are expensive in Thailand.

Ye, thats what I am doing, I have just spent $1000Aust on Doris with extras from Touratech. she is ready to go again. However I need to work a bit longer.
New WP front springs
new stainless braided brake hoses
new twin headlight system
and a few other bits
Now I will have to keep Doris until 160,000k

This isn't a Dakar - this looks more like the Italian made BMW F650 that existed until about 1994 (I think).

Hi All

The bike is a BMW F650 conventional road bike not a Dakar or even a G/S ,could be a ST.
Anyway the main thing is it still for sale and at what price ?
