After 145 km we turn right at Road 48 (caution: it is difficult to see the sign) through the mountains towards the Cambodian / Thai border. This is a very nice road, although be preared that some areas require speeds of only 60-80 km/h.

Good to see organised rides into Cambodia. The web page says minimum donation is 10k Baht and to budget 30k Baht for expenses (petrol, hotels). Not exactly cheap. Could buy a few kids helmets for that , cheap helmets in Vietnam sell for about US$3 each. (440 helmets = $1,320 = approx 40k Baht).

Wishing good riding and safe trip for all the participants.
