Another Saturday afternoon meander out to Chiang Dao & cruising down the highway I spotted a small sign for the Tree House amongst a gaggle of signs like geese calling out.

the Tree House sounds new & interesting.
So off we go, another delightful narrow winding concrete road heading for the hills.

It soon climbs up & around

The further up you go the cooler it gets & some impressive trees dot the road side

but you have to think, where did all the other ones disappear to?

A small bridge is out on the way up.

But you carry on up the big hill passed the big trees

eventually you end up in a small village & on the right is the entrance to the tree house

The little sign is what you lok for
IMG_0778.jpg

& it was what I spotted on the highway.
Go down the step driveway & try to find somewhere to park your bike = it's not designed for big motorbike parking!
Stroll back up the driveway & go behind the bamboo fence & hey presto you are in the "Tree House."

IT's a massive building with a nice deck for dining.
They have rooms & bungalows for 750 baht.
The location is absolutely fantastic, sitting on the edge of a ravine, surrounded by the forest.
It's a difficult place to get photos because it is all quite compact & hemmed in by the forest.
I'd like to go back for the night with the GF - it's the hideaway place, hidden in the jungle where you might go for a romantic night.

Check out this vdo

wait until the end where there is some drone images so that you can really see how fantastic the place looks & the location it is.

Sorry I’ve been keeping that till last to post with the Google Earth view, but I’m still having trouble with Google Earth mal-functioning.
I have no idea what the problem is, but it stopped working a month ago, & even after a reformat & new installation I can’t get it to work properly.
So.....
