Now before you get too excited, this trip was by plane & car.
But I though a few pix might relieve the temporary domestic boredom for myself & maybe a few others out there.

The flight out of Bkk goes at sparrows, 6am approx, so that means you have to over night in Bkk.
The SEO Guy & I stayed out near the airport at the magnificent Valentine Resort.
Not quite luxurious, but good value for money 10 minutes from the airport.
For dinner, just a couple of hundred metres down the road was the amazing Koh Lanta Resort Restaurant.
It took quite an effort not to over indulge at this absolutely magnificent establishment, plus force ourselves go to bed early ready for that 4am wake up call.
Such is life..
