Oh yeah forgot to add that Wat - Pai is supposedly all asphalt now, or there are just a couple kms of dirt left. So no sooner is the new map out than it's out of date.
But some guy had a bit of a nasty spill on the dirt section from Samoeng - Wat Chan & had to pillioned into Pai - well done Turkish for helping out. Poor ol Mr Mechanic now has to go out & retrieve one of his bikes.....

hi "big brother" even i did not remember my old question.
last year i rode in north thailand but left the "NAN" area for my next thailand tour. my wife was riding with me [
] so we stayed every night at chiang mai doing a "star" tour and riding the short day loops.sameong,doi inthanon and doi ang kong ( what a "loonee" down hill) .
the best cure for my toursick is planing the next one so i started.
soon back to chiang mai
