Can't wait to see it in the flesh... Just compared some Tracker 125 pictures with KLX140 pics, the engines look similar, and it would surprise me if they'd be totally different. Bore is the same on both, 54.4mm, only the little KLX is stroked to 58mm instead of 54mm to give it 144cc. How complicated is it to change the stroke on an engine?

I agree Ian. I saw the 125 at the show and I think I'll get the wife one. Great looking bike.

I goofed up yesterday, the 125 has a bore/stroke of 54x54.4 and the 140 58x54.4mm, so same stroke, bigger bore, as usual. Looks like an easy to order, Kawasaki-made big bore kit.

I am fairly sure the bottom end is the same as the 140 and I have also seen images of a KLX150 and 150R models on a Thai language forum..

But wont the fact this will be an FI bike, make tuning a bit more of a complex issue than simply throwing a 150cc bore kit on.

But if they can get 22hp out of those little KSR's, fit them with 6 speed boxes and manual clutches, I am sure they will work something out.

The KLX140 and KLX150 are both 144cc. I wonder if the 175cc Boss cylinder would fit, cant find any info on the bore & stroke of the Boss but seem to recall Kawasaki make a 125cc version for somewhere. Must say the D Tracker version looks like a great little bike for your Teelak to scoot around on in style, would be fun for someone like myself to take for the occasional blast if some respectable hp can be coaxed out of it. Still cant help but feel that Honda are missing a trick in not making something similar in Thailand using the CBR150 lump. Is it true that Honda are stopping production of the CBR150 soon ? if so what will they replace it with ?

22hp out of a KSR? Did they supercharge it?! I don't believe it's possible to get that power out of 110cc without some extreme mods that cost as much as the whole bike!
