The night before I thought "It is time for another trip" and the next day I left home at 5 in the morning. The air is still cool and not much traffic on the road. I had not made any plans so I rode up to "Nam Nao National Park" which is always a great ride. Except for that huge buffalo standing on the road without any intention to move.
From there I did ride to "Phu Hin Rongkla" to take the most beautiful twisty roads of up to about 1500m to sit and relax and see the clouds coming in. Too bad all markets and restaurants were closed because I needed a breakfast.
From there I rode route 203 in direction of Dan Sai and Phu Rua but took a short cut to route 201 (Wang Saphung) and then route 210 to Nong Bua Lam Phu where at Erawan I was surprised by a heavy rain, but good I did not stop as it took only 500m of rain! From there I did to Ubolrat lake to take the nice twisty road along the east side of the lake. Nice views, good road along/on small mountain range.
All together as nice 1 day tour of about 630km.
