Hi all! My wife and i have finished touring round Nth India on our Enfield bullet was truly awesome way to travel, we are soon to fly into bangkok for a 4mth tour of the sth east. Is there similar options as in india, with cheap bikes, old reliable classics, should i expect to pay more for a bike that will ride the two of us around for this time or is renting the main option? were keen to ride and explore but realise it may be different to getting started there as it was here in India
thanks for your replys,
jimmy..

Jimmy - there is a lot of information on this site and board.

If you need any detailed info, ask some detailed questions. Not just "I am coming to Thailand and need a bike".

Start here for bike prices. http://www.siamsuperbike.com/stock.html

Enfields are made in India. There are no bikes over 200cc made in Thailand.

Your best bets are
1. Take a look at
https://www.gt-rider.com/bikes.html
and
https://www.gt-rider.com/bikes.html#BUYINGABIKE
2. In Bkk contact Peter Reid at Siam Superbike & see what sort of deal you could cut with him
3. In Chiang Mai try either Mr Mechanic or Tom & Joe at Goodwill Mc Hire / Joe Bike team.

Last but not certainly not least - what sort of budget do you have = what's the limit? This is going to be the final deciding factor!
