At 11 am we had made reservation at the Riverside Guesthouse, placed at confirming call at 4 pm only to arrive at 5.30 and to be told that the room was gone. The lady of the houise hinted at the many options in town.
I told her in no uncertain vioce ( lack of Thai words ) that I certainly would not leave her premises until she personnally had found a new place.
Well, it was the BOOM HOUSE , clean, simple rooms, cement walls which I become to favor over rattan walls after being deep frozen some nights. Very good kitchen, the boss himself is the Chef, and hidden in abarn 10 internet stations, which I used alone.Nice terrasse looking on the river
