Hello From Chiang Mai

Ladies and Gents,

I have finally got the chance to move my ride from Pattaya to Chiang Mai. Being new over here, I would really appreciate any tips, advises and any useful info how to find the best rides. This site has been a great help and given me lots of ideas. What I am really looking forward is meeting some of you fellow riders here in Chiang Mai, and if you could advice me about any common hang outs, where to meet you guys in live, I would really appreciate.

I think we're all pretty well scattered across the north, from Mae Sariang to Chiang Khong... A good way to meet up is to join the monthly GT-Rider Up-Country Dinner rides. Those are organised for the last Wednesday each month. Destination is a place where you'd not normally go as it's on the way to somewhere else...

Not sure if there is any interest for this month as the last Wednesday month conflicts with Christmas etc.
