I just came back from a fantastic tour of northern Malaysia and have to say I was so very impressed with your country!

Fantastic roads, great food, cheap gas, beautiful scenery, a much higher standard of driving than Thailand and very biker-friendly.

Georgetown, Penang was my favorite- what a cool city!

Can't wait to go back!

Give a shout when you come to Thailand- I hope I can return some of the hospitality I enjoyed in your country.

Welcome! Do plan on some day joining some of the GT riders and viewing and experiencing some of Thailand, especially in the Northern Thailand region.

I'm planning on making my first and a month long, visit to Malaysia...during July, the least month of rain.
From all the trip reports I've viewed, it seems Malaysia might even be more scenic than Thailand...and the only way
to make comparisons is to go there!

hey cdrw, July should be dry, at least according to our meteorological department. Last i heard it should be dry starting May till Sept. At the moment still raining daily in the afternoon for most part of malaysia. Do drop a note if you're coming this way.
