indonesia map and info request

me and a couple friends are going to indonesia in a few weeks. we have always rented bikes and gone seeking adventure. i was wondering if anyone had some info about travel there, recommended maps, highlights, etc.

It would help if you would indicate where about in Indonesia you are planning to go as the country is huge.

If you put the map of Indonesia on the map of Europe then North Sumatra is somewhere near Iceland while West Irian is way past Turkey.

as yet undecided. We have discussed arriving in Jakarta and staying in the area a while then going south to Bali. nothing decided, hence my need for a plan
