Took some pics this morning to share as Ipoh is also known as Kinta Valley which was famous for it's tin mining in the early years.
The city is surrounded by the mountains ranges such as Titiwangsa (main range) and Kledang Range. Here one can ride a days loop on each side such as the western side which has the Kledang Range and the Perak River. Alternatively one can also ride the Cameron-Jeli-Gerik-Ipoh loop which cross the Titiwangsa from west to east and back from north east of the state as one would have cover 3 states in a days ride ie- Perak, Pahang & Kelantan.
The later is a mountainous ride with plenty of sweeping curves uphill and downhill.
