klx 250 exhaust 2009 model

Anyone know if its easy to drill the original exhaust out to make these bikes sound better or is there a replacement can in LOS which is cheap?
Also does the green wire snip actually make more horses or does it just cook the ECU?

How does the wire snip, with added jumper, cook the ECU? Even with the longest of rides there is no increase in the already cool ECU, though the rectifier/regulator (?) does get just as warm as before the snip.

Several fabricating shops in CM offer quite reasonable pricing for a custom can and header.
