As everybody has already read or heard about KTM's financial troubles, news in Austrian News outlets indicate that the courts requirements will be met by latest deadline this week Fri 23rd May. As the rumours run around it seems that one of the major shareholders BAJAJ from India will come up with the finds for 30% payment which should be around 548 mio Euros but in total Euro 600 mio will be needed and yesterday evening news indicated that this is now sure to be paid so that KTM can continue.
Would be a shame if KTM is wasted....................

KTM has been saved by Bajaj of India who will take majority now in shareholding of the KTM Group.

Just read in the online news from Austrian Broadcaster ORF that the debt restructuring of KTM has been successfully concluded. Production start should go ahead in July. Would have been a shame to have them dissappear.

Some more good news just in an Austrian Daily ' The Kurier', in the first half of 2025 KTM succeeded to sell 100,391 bikes and delivered to dealers slightly over 50k bikes. That means that their huge stocks of 130,000 units could be reduced significantly. Production is to start as scheduled on 28.7. And additionally there are now 30 job vacancies in the AT plant. CEO G. Neumeister is optimistic for a good future of KTM and sure that the customer base is still strong and loyal as before problems started.
