KTM, Kawa or Honda? KTM reliability etc?

I need to buy an everyday bike for normal town/city/country riding.

The KTM Duke 390 or RC 390 are appealing, as they're light and nimble, cheaper single cylinders, fun, cheaper maintenance etc.

But KTM are not exactly known as the most reliable brand out there, and there's one dealership in town, that isn't even a dealership, they have maybe 3 KTM bikes, so I doubt many parts etc on hand.

I need to use it everyday, so that would be a worry.

I like the Ninja 650, but a bit big and heavy, more expensive to run, but lots of dealerships and parts that are easy to get.

A middle option is the CBR500 twin cylinder, but it's a bit boring compared to the other two.

So I'm completely caught up with which one to go for. I'm not interested in Benelli etc.

Any thoughts?

I believe the 390 is reliable & good value for money here.
For a bike, & value for money you probably can't beat a Honda 500X.
Economical, reliable & parts available "everywhere."

Another option is to look at either a Forza or an Xmax. Both these bikes deliver around town, plus upcountry on the road.

Any of the "bikes" you mention don't have any convenient storage for shopping.

Say, like this one.
