Looking for somebody to join for a trip

I would really like to make a trip say North Thailand to Malaysia - maybe Penang or even Langkawi. I would prefer fewer people even just two of us.
Its a bit early yet but just putting out feelers for late 2009 or even 2010.
Obviously will ask GT-Rider for advice on (cross-border) rental and border procedures in due course but its just an idea for the moment.

Not quite the same time period but I have two months holiday from mid-April to mid-May in 2009.
Thinking of going back to Malaysia. Penang then the east coast.
