On the way to Mae Rim / Mae Sa

I think this is R107 the Chiang Mai - Mae Rim road.
The Shell petrol station I think, was near the old immigration office, which became Chang Puak police & is now the Forsenic Police office.

I see the Snail out looking for this spot today & dug out these old pics too. Late 1980s.....what used to be called Rock Tower, maybe Johpa knows where the name came from?
