In the triangle-area between Chiang Rai, Thaton and Doi Chang are many good short dirt roads. Someone are very hard (the first 3 km from the Huay Keow Waterfall to Khun Kon Waterfall), but the most one easy.
The best tours goes to Doi Chang, Wawi and back to Chiang Rai on the Mae Kok River.
