On the morning of the 4th day, we leave Mae Hong Son by the famous road 1095 to join a small mountain village named Ban Jabo.
On our way, we can again observe the farmers who harvest their rice.
This is the kind of country scene that we do not get tired of.
This authentic village is populated by a Lahu tribe and located on a mountain range overlooking a spectacular landscape of the entire region. The village is on the road between Pai City and Mae Hong Son Town about an hour and a half drive from Pai. A beautiful, winding, 4 km long road will take you from the main road (Route 1095) to the village.
One of the most popular attractions of Ban Jabo village is a humble noodle restaurant on a terrace suspended over an abyss, overlooking the absolutely spectacular landscape. Many come here not only for the noodles, but of course to sit on the edge of the balcony, just above the abyss, when the marvelous landscape is spread out before their eyes.
Members of the Lahu tribe are known for their colorful costumes, wonderful hospitality and warmth. Ban Jabo offers the possibility of accommodation "Home Stay" - humble guest houses owned by local families, as well as small restaurants where you can enjoy various local dishes.
Ban Jabo is a lovely, authentic place with a spectacular view of Lahu tribe members if you take the time to stroll through the alleys of the village. We highly recommend it!
We finally joined Pai quietly enjoying the beautiful scenery of Route 1095.
